Personal Injury

Do you take personal injury cases?
Yes! We accept medical payments from your car insurance or through a third party.

Do I need treatment even if I don't feel any pain?
Yes! The effects of an accident sometimes can't be felt until days or even weeks later. An accident is a violent unnatural force on your body, especially your spine, nerves, ligaments and muscles. Without proper care, you may have long term side effects for the rest of your life.

What exactly is whiplash?
Whiplash is an injury to the neck and/or supporting structures when the head and neck are violently thrust backward and forward. The mechanism of injury is cervical acceleration deceleration (CAD) and can commonly cause pain in your neck, back and between shoulder blades; numbness, tingling and weekness in arms and legs; headache and dizziness; and trouble concentrating, sleeping, hearing or seeing.

Do you take workers' compensation claims?
Yes! Workers compensation covers both chiropractic and acupuncture care. You will need to have an authorization from your adjuster to start care.

What do I do if I get injured on the job?
Report it immediately! Worker's Disability Compensation is an employee benefit provided for disability, death or medical care resulting from accidental injury or disease that is related to employment. Your care will not cost you any money and doesn't go through your existing health insurance. However, be aware that unless you ask for alternative medicine (acupuncture and chiropractic), you may never be offered anything but traditional Western care such as drugs or surgery. The North Carolina Worker's Compensation website can provide more information.

How do I get Acupuncture and/or Chiropractic approved for my case?
You must ask your primary doctor to prescribe Acupuncture or Chiropractic to get it approved. If your doctor will not prescribe it, you can possibly switch to us as your primary doctor (depending on your case) so we can prescribe it.
